Rising Star of World Championship of Performing Arts

Representing the UAE at the 25th Annual World Championship of Performing Arts (WCOPA) in Disneyland in July 2022, Jovita Bhaumik transformed into a melody machine when she took to the stage, leaving the judges and audiences stunned with her powerhouse vocals.

Competing against singers, dancers, instrumentalists, and actors from over 70 countries, Jovita raised the tempo and set a new standard for her fellow competitors. Her hard work and dedication paid off when she was awarded two gold medals for Pop and Original Works, and a bronze medal for Rock.

But Jovita's success didn't stop there. Her performance earned her the coveted title of overall champion of the world in three divisions - Pop, Original Works, and Original Work with Self Accompaniment. The judges were impressed not only by her vocal range and control but also by her songwriting skills and ability to accompany herself on the piano.
